Satluj Ldh protest poor umpiring, forfeit match

CHANDIGARH: In the ongoing U-16 Inter-Academy Cricket Tournament for Hara Cup Sukhwinder Tinku''s XI (Mohali) defeated Satluj Academy (Ludhiana) by 195 runs.

In the ongoing U-16 Inter-Academy Cricket Tournament for Hara Cup Sukhwinder Tinku's XI (Mohali) defeated Satluj Academy (Ludhiana) by 195 runs. Batting first, the Mohali team posted 231/6 in 40 overs. Jaiveer (81) and Dushyant (55) were the two main run scorers for the side. The duo also raised a 117-run partnership for the second wicket. In reply, Satluj Academy lads were playing at 36/3 in 12 overs, when the forfeit the match while protesting an umpire's decision. The side refused to continue the match. — TNS
