A special assembly was organised to celebrate Republic Day. Students of Class V presented a skit on Fundamental Rights and Duties. Various events such as patriotic poetry, songs, speeches and dance were held on the school premises. A pledge-taking ceremony was also organised to promote ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign on the occasion of National Girl Child Day. Assembly was concluded with the address of Director/Principal Mr Krit Serai followed by National Anthem.

Ryan International, Chandigarh

A farewell and blessing ceremony was organised at Himachal Bhawan, Chandigarh, for the graduating batches of Class XII & X (2019-20) of Ryan International School, Chandigarh. Outgoing students of Class XII shared their joyous memories of the school days. Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto encouraged the students to always evoke Lord’s blessings along with those of their parents and teachers to continue to strive towards the path to success.

Shishu Niketan, Chandigarh

Yoga Society, Chandigarh, organised a District Level Yogasana Competition. In the senior category Pepesana from Class IX won the gold medal. In the junior category, Gurleen Kaur, from Class VII, bagged the gold medal followed by Samridhi Khanduri and Yashita, who won silver and bronze medals, respectively.

Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh

To celebrate the National Girl Child Day, Gurukul Global School, conducted a special assembly in the school auditorium. The school wore a pink look as all guests, staff and students wore Pink turban. A pledge to ‘Save the Girl Child’ was administered to the students. Meritorious students were awarded at the occasion.

Gian Jyoti Global School, Mohali

Tamanna Sharma, a student of Gian Jyoti Global School, brought laurels by winning a silver medal in the uneven bars event (U-17) at Khelo India Youth Games-2020 held in Guwahati. Principal Gian Jyot applauded her for the achievement. TNS
