The school celebrated the achievement of its alumnus, Arshdeep Singh, following his triumph in the ICC T-20 World Cup. Arshdeep Singh’s talent and dedication played a pivotal role in India’s victory in the international cricket. Upon his return to Chandigarh, the school welcomed him with prayers, a ceremonial cake cutting, garlanding and best wishes. The celebrations were led by Principal Gurnam Kaur Grewal.

Shishu Niketan Public, Sec 66, Mohali

The celebration of Van Mahotsav was observed at the school by the Kindergarten wing to spread awareness of forest conservation and save the environment. Students were made aware of the importance of planting trees through a presentation by Ms Charanjeet Kaur. Students of the primary wing planted saplings on campus.

AKSIPS 123 Smart School, Mohali

The investiture ceremony was organised on campus. Kshitiz Verma and Rasgunjit Kaur were elected as the head boy and head girl, respectively. With badges pinned proudly on their chests, the council members took pledges for the forthcoming session.

Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur

Van Mahotsav was celebrated at the school in collaboration with the Shivanand Choubey Memorial Charitable Trust. Additional Director General of Police, Punjab CM Security, AK Pandey, was the chief guest at the event with Zirakpur DSP Simranjeet Singh and the school principal, Dr Parveena Johns Singh. Among the other dignitaries present at the event were Punjabi actor and comedian BN Sharma and the founder and chairman of the Shivanand Choubey Memorial Charitable Trust, Mrs and Mr Sanjay Choubey.

GP Public High School, Baltana

The school organised an event to celebrate Van Mahotsav. Problems created by deforestation were highlighted through speeches, poems, and songs. The tiny tots played a skit on “Save Environment, Save Trees.”

Shishu Niketan Model Sr Sec, Sec 22-D, Chd

The school has been awarded the Best Institution Award under the Junior Wing and Junior Division of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Cadet Alizee bagged the best anchor award. The recognition came during the Combined Annual Training Camp 173rd, which took place at Sector 11 Postgraduate Government College. A total of 350 cadets from nine schools and seven colleges participated in the camp to showcase their skills and discipline over the course of ten days.

PML SD Public School, Chandigarh

The kindergarten section of the school celebrated Mango Day. Students came dressed up in shades of yellow. Many facts about the fruit were discussed with the students, and they were also told about various species of mangoes and the nutritional benefits of mangoes.
