To inculcate leadership qualities in students and give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school cabinet was formed and investiture was organised by the school. The newly elected members of the council were conferred badges and flags by the chief guest, Col Daljeet Cheema. Anvita Upadhyay was appointed as Head Girl and Harsimar Singh Head Boy.

Girl students of the school were cordially invited to attend the live screening of the Wimbledon women’s singles between Barbora Krejcikova and Jasmine Paolini by the British High Commissioner, Caroline Rowett, to The Hyatt Regency. The evening was graced by some exceptional tennis players as well. The girls had an opportunity of interacting with the British High Commissioner.
Saint Soldier Int’l, Chandigarh
The school commemorated World Population Day with a presentation by NSS incharge Manoj Kumar. The students were told about the importance of sustainable development and responsible resource management to mitigate these challenges.
Hansraj Public School, Panchkula
The school observed ‘Van Mahotsav Week’. Students engaged in activities like poster-making, poetry recitation and role-play to sensitise fellow mates to the importance of planting trees and conserving nature. A cycle rally was also organised. The programme culminated with a mass plantation drive with over 500 students, led by Principal Jaya Bhardwaj, planting a variety of saplings on the school premises.
GMSSS, Sector 28-D, Chandigarh
A nukkad natak on “Grow more Trees” was presented during morning assembly of the school. A tree plantation activity was also conducted. Students were motivated to grow more trees.
Valley Public School, Panchkula
The investiture was held for the academic session 2024-25 on the school premises. Badges were conferred on the newly elected council members and leaders by Principal Dr S Umamaheswari and other staff members. Yash Kumar of Class XII was appointed Head Boy and Yogita of Class 12 Head Girl.
Guru Nanak Foundation, Mohali
The school celebrated ‘Van Mahotsav’’. A tree plantation programme was held in which students from Classes I to XII participated enthusiastically. The students were also inspired to contribute to save the planet and environment by promoting and adopting sustainable development measures.
