‘Seal entry, exit points of villages’, Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Commissioner

Fatehgarh Sahib, April 6

In order to combat Covid-19 outbreak, Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Commissioner Amrit Kaur Gill has ordered to seal all the entry and exit points of villages in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner has exercised her powers under Section 3(1) of the Punjab Village and Small Town Patrol Act 1918. These orders will remain in force till May 2.

She said panchyats will set up ‘Threekri Pehras’ with help of youths. She has exempted senior citizens and physically challenged persons from duty.
