Sec-19 coaching centre off to a winning start

CHANDIGARH:Coaching Centre Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, registered a 22-9 win over HB Coaching Centre (B team) in the opening match of the 32nd Junior Chandigarh State Handball Championship at Guru Nanak Khalsa School, Sector 30, here, on Tuesday.

Chandigarh, November 13

Coaching Centre Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, registered a 22-9 win over HB Coaching Centre (B team) in the opening match of the 32nd Junior Chandigarh State Handball Championship at Guru Nanak Khalsa School, Sector 30, here, on Tuesday. 

Mamta, Supreeti and Janvi scored four points each for the Sector 19 outfit, while Lila (four points) and Preeti (three points) contributed to HB Coaching Centre’s tally. 

In the second match, B-team of the Coaching Centre Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, defeated Coaching Centre, Sector 23, 12-4. Alisha (seven points) was the top scorer for the winners. 

In another match, St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, overcame Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, 9-8. Ridhima alone scored eight points for St Xavier’s. Laavanya (four points), Annie (two points) and Vibhuti (two points) scored for Sacred Heart School.
