Sector 15 traders, residents hold protest against vendors

Chandigarh, December 18

Traders and residents of Sector 15 held a protest against shifting of vendors in the sector.

The traders have been opposing the decision of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation to accommodate around 1,000 vendors from different areas, including PGI, Sectors 12, 15, 17 and 22, in Sector 15.

Residents said shifting vendors will cause traffic congestion, parking issues and inconvenience to children, who would be deprived of playing area.
