The SGPC alleged gurdwara manager Rajinder Singh Tohra breached trust by using forged documents to sell the land and misappropriate the proceeds. It claimed the transaction was fraudulent and illegal and asserted that the mutation based on such documents should be cancelled. It also sought a prohibition on any future sale of the land to prevent further damage.
