A shopkeeper at Mani Majra was arrested for selling fake products.

The suspect has been identified as Navneet Goyal (32).

The police said a case of cheating had been registered on a complaint of Rajesh Kumar, manager (investigation) in Assiduous Consulting Private Limited.

The complainant purchased a box containing 120 pieces of GoodKnight gold flash liquid vapouriser from Jai Jawala Sales, a shop at the Motor Market in Mani Majra.

When asked for a bill of the purchased item, the shopkeeper, Navneet, refused to issue an original bill. When the complainant checked the purchased articles, he found them duplicate.

The suspect was arrested and produced in a court which sent him to judicial custody.
