Six women cops among 8 shifted

Chandigarh, October 16

Eight cops, including four women Inspectors and two women Sub-Inspectors, were today transferred by the UT police. The four women Inspectors were posted at the Police Lines, Sector 26, from where Reena Yadav has been transferred to the CID, Aarti Goyal has been shifted to the IRB, Poonam Dilawari has now been posted at the Recruit Training Centre (RTC) and Jaswinder Kaur has been transferred to the traffic wing. Inspectors Didar Singh and Rakesh Kumar, who were also posted at the Police Lines, have been transferred to the IRB and the PCR, respectively. SI Chandermukhi has been transferred from the traffic wing to the Sarangpur police station and Partibha Kumari, who was presently posted in the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell, has been shifted to the Sector 36 police station. Meanwhile, Sukhraj Katewa, DSP, EOW, has been given an additional charge of the DSP, PCR. Pakal Goel has been posted as the DSP, Traffic. TNS
