To acknowledge the role played by grandparents in one’s life, the St Soldier School hosted the Grandparents’ Day Out event at the school auditorium on Saturday. The event kicked off with recital of religious hymns by students of Class I. A humorous skit was also organised by students of Class II. Most of the presentations were based on love, affection and role of grandparents. School Headmistress Amrit Kalsi delivered the vote of thanks and applauded the efforts of each and every participant and teachers.

Manav Rachna International, Mohali

An investiture ceremony for the academic session 2019-2020 was organised at the school. The ceremony commenced with the school prayer and school song. An followed by investing responsibility and authority to the newly appointed cabinet members of the school. Principal Taruna Vashisht honoured the cabinet members, including the head boy, head girl, sports captain (Girl & Boy), clan chiefs, vice-clan chiefs, secretaries, and catalysts with badges.

Shishu Niketan, Nayagaon 

The school organised an awareness programme. A poster-making competition was organised on the topic say no to plastic, wherein, students participated with zeal. Principal Vibha Gautam encouraged them to follow the righteous path and stop using plastic at homes and in schools.

Delhi Public School, Chandigarh

A Rotary Reconnect Week was observed with great aplomb at the school. A medical camp was organised for Class IV employees as a joint service project with the alumni association. Around 60 ex-students of the school attended the event. A fellowship session was also held. 

Kids 'R' Kids, Chandigarh 

To spread awareness about the Gandhian philosophy of 'simplicity and sustainability', students organised a Cycle Yatra. They raised awareness about importance of cleanliness and the need to end drug abuse. The students enlightened the people about the bad effects of drugs and alcohol on human health, personal and social life. Director Anupam Grewal flagged off the rally.

AKSIPS-41 Smart, Chandigarh 

A career counselling workshop was organised at the school for Class X students by Sangeeda Beri, Regional Employment Officer, Regional Employment Exchange, UT, Chandigarh. The students were guided for various career options according to their interest. They were also given tips to prepare themselves for giving interviews at various levels. 

AC National Public, Zirakpur 

A festive kids' carnival was organised at the school. The carnival included bounces, merry-go-round, train, pools and zorbin. The students enjoyed the rides and had a great fun.
