In yet another incident of dog bite, a five-year-old girl was brutally bitten on her hand by a stray dog while she was busy playing outside her house at Rattpur Colony in Pinjore block yesterday.
The victim, Anjali, was rushed to the Sector 6 hospital from where doctors referred her to the PGI.
Anjali’s aunt Kusum said her niece was playing outside the house around 5 pm when a stray dog attacked her. After hearing the shrieks of the child, she rushed out and saved her from the dog. She said the dog had brutally bitten the child on her hand. She said they took the child to the Civil Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, from where doctors referred her to the PGI.
A four-year-old girl, Ananya, was bitten by a stray dog in the same sector earlier, disfiguring her face. Another three-year-old boy, Ankush, was brutally mauled by a stray dog at Nada village while he was playing outside his house. The child was bitten by stray dogs at 15 places on his body. — TNS
