Team Inarah clinch golf title
Team Inarah (B) comprising Arshdeep Tiwana and Randeep Chonkar claimed the overall championship in the net category (group A) with a score of 222.8, during the 10th edition of the Chasma Shah Team Golf Championship being held at the Chandigarh Golf Club. Zookey Beans (Vicky Janjua and Arvind Bajaj) claimed second position by scoring 224.4.
In group B, the team of GB Legends (Naunuhal Singh and MP Singh) secured the top position with 223.8, followed by ADS Falcons (Ajay Wadhwa and Anurag Chopra) at second position with 226.8.
In the double-peoria format, the team of Fairway Hawks (Ravibir Singh and Raman Gill) won group A with a score of 209.5, followed by Devils Own (Harjote Sidhu and Parampreet Sidhu) at 211.1. In group B, Grizzly Buddies (Dharmendra Bohra and Imran) emerged winners with 209, while Ocean Homes (Brahma Prakash Mundra and Ravinder Nath) secured the runner-up position with 211.
The Birdie Bandits (Bobby Sandhu and Sanjay Talwar) emerged as the best team in group A with a score of 62.4, and the team of Beers & Cheers (MK Mohanty and Akshay Ojha) led group B with a score of 63.2. In the individual category, Arshdeep Tiwana registered the best gross score of 74, and Ruhail Singh Azaad secured the individual title in the double-peoria format with a score of 68.8.
Sanjeev Chaudhry won the ‘Closest to Pin’ award, while Peeyush Khandka claimed the ‘straightest drive’ title. RS Chaudhry bagged the senior-most golfer title and Precious Bansal was recognised as the youngest participant.
