Ten-day NCC naval wing camp begins at PU
A 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp of No.1 Chandigarh Naval NCC Unit commenced today at the Panjab University, Chandigarh, with 450 cadets from local schools and colleges participating in it.
During the camp, the cadets will undergo intensive training in various subjects, including drill, weapons, seamanship, leadership, personality development, physical training and other activities aimed at enhancing discipline, teamwork and self-confidence. Special guest lectures on traffic awareness, cyber security and disaster management have also been planned.
Keeping in view the present-day challenges, special guest lectures on traffic awareness, cyber security and disaster management by the National Disaster Response Force have been planned to equip cadets with essential skills and create awareness.
