Kindergarten students, along with their parents, had a great time during meet and greet held at The British School, Sector 8. Lemonade and healthy snack counters were put up by the students of Class V. There was a gaming area in the school garden where the toddlers were seen enjoying with their parents. The choir of the Primary Wing presented songs and poems on Baisakhi. 

AKSIPS-41, Chandigarh

The new session at AKSIPS-41 Smart School commenced with a Sahej Path. Students of Classes X and XII also participated. Executive Director of AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools, Jasdeep Kalra, and Principal Ritu Bali were also present and prayed for the success of students of Classes X and XII.

RIMT World, Mani Majra

RIMT World School conducted an orientation session for parents of newly admitted pre-Primary students wherein the parents were familiarised with the curriculum and activities conducted in the school for the holistic development of students. Principal Anjali Sharma was also present on the occasion. 

SIS Public, Mohali

World Health Day was celebrated at SIS Public School, Phase VII, Mohali. Students performed a special assembly. They presented an act in which they showcased the importance of healthy life. Students were also informed about various facilities provided by the government. Later, they pledged to avoid junk food. Besides, activities such as poster making and essay writing were also held.

The Sky School, Panchkula 

The Sky School, Panchkula, organised a special assembly to celebrate World Health Day. Class X students were told about the importance of being healthy through a mime and speech. Students of Classes I and II were shown a PPT on the same theme, whereas in Classes III to IX, various activities such as poster making, slogan writing and crossword puzzle were held. The students were motivated to avoid junk food and unhealthy lifestyle.

Brilliance World, Panchkula 

Atma Ram Bansal, Chairman, Darbari Lal Foundation, organised a ‘Mata ki chowki’ at Brilliance World School, Sector 12, Panchkula, to mark the beginning of Navratras. School staff, students and their families participated in the programme. Shyam Sunder, Chairman of the school, said, “We hold ‘Mata ki chowki’ every year. This not only enhances the feeling of oneness among members of the Brilliance family, but also brings about positivity during the beginning of the new session.”

Aanchal International, Chandigarh 

Aanchal International School conducted an orientation programme for parents making them familiar about the next session. All subject teachers told the parents about the new teaching methods they will adopt. Parents were advised to make a time table for their child for achieving better score. 

SMD Little Champ, Panchkula 

World Health Day was celebrated at SMD Little Champ Smart School, Sector 2, Panchkula, with a purpose to inculcate healthy eating habits in children. Aditya, Kashvi Thakur recited poems on good eating habits. A healthy tiffin competition was also organised and students were encouraged to say no to junk food.
