Chandigarh, July 11
A vehicle thief has been arrested by the local police and eight two-wheelers have been recovered from him.
According to the police, Sandeep, alias Vicky (21), a resident of Rajiv Colony, Sector 17, Panchkula, was arrested by a team of the Mani Majra police station.
The police said seven motorcycles and an Activa scooter had been recovered from him.
The police said three vehicle theft cases registered at the Mani Majra police station, one at the Mauli Jagran police station and one in Panchkula had been solved with his arrest. The police said they were trying to find out from where the remaining three vehicles were stolen.
