Chandigarh, July 28
In view of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the Sukhna Lake on July 30, vehicular movement will be restricted on various roads from 3 pm to 10 pm.
There will be traffic restrictions on the road stretch from the old barricade chowk (Sector 1/3/4 rotary) on the Uttar Marg to the Sector 5/6/7/8 chowk (Hira Singh Chowk) on the Sarovar Path.
People wishing to visit the lake between 3 pm and 10 pm can reach there from the St Kabir School light point road, which leads to the back of the lake, and via the Kishangarh chowk.
Traffic may be restricted or diverted on other roads as well.
