Trupti wins gold

Trupti Mane of RSB Mumbai lifted a total weight of 130 kg to win the gold medal in the women's 77kg event, during the All India Civil Services Weightlifting & Powerlifting Tournament 2025–26, organised by the Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration under the aegis of the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board, New Delhi. Meena Dhurve of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, won the silver medal with a lift of 97kg and Chandigarh's Ritu lifted 88kg to win the third position.

In the men's 79kg event, Rajesh Mittal of Rajasthan won the gold medal by lifting 223kg, followed by Abhishek Patil of RSB Mumbai at second position with a total lift of 219kg. Haryana's Aman lifted 215kg to claim the bronze medal.
