Chandigarh, March 18
Two persons were nabbed by the crime branch of the UT police for possessing 410 banned injections and 200 grams of charas.
A team led by Inspector Amanjot Singh, Incharge, crime branch, nabbed a 50-year-old man, identified as Pappu, a resident of Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, while possessing 410 banned injections. He was nabbed near the Transport light point.
In the other incident, crime branch sleuths nabbed a Mohali resident, identified as Deepak, while possessing 200 grams of charas. The accused was arrested near the petrol pump in Sector 56.
Separate cases under the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused. — TNS
