Two booked for raping 16-year-old

PATIALA:The police on Tuesday booked two persons for raping a 16-year-old girl in Banaur.

The police on Tuesday booked two persons for raping a 16-year-old girl in Banaur. The suspects have been identified Baljeet Singh and Jaspreet Singh, both residents of Mandiana village in Patiala district.

According to the police complaint, the suspects had called the victim to Rajpura in July. The police said the suspects raped the 16-year-old girl at Jhilmil Dhabha, near Rajpura, on July 1. 

The police have registered a case against the suspects under Sections 366-A, 376 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4, 16 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
