Two bike-borne youths suffered serious injuries after they fell off from Kharar flyover and got entangled in high-tension wires.

The victims, Pankaj (28) and Krish (19) both from Jind, were currently residing in Guru Nanak Colony, Kharar. They were reportedly hit by an unidentified vehicle and crashed into the boundary of the flyover before falling off. The duo got entangled in the high-tension wires below before falling off onto the road near the tehsil office two days ago.

Passersby rushed the victims to Kharar Civil Hospital from where they were referred to PGI. The incident came to light after the CCTV footage of the incident was captured on a nearby shop.

Eyewitnesses said there was an explosion right after the two were entangled in the wires.
