PANCHKULA:Two persons were killed and one seriously injured when their Bolero jeep rammed into a stationary tipper near the tehsil complex in Raipur Rani late last night.

Two persons were killed and one seriously injured when their Bolero jeep rammed into a stationary tipper near the tehsil complex in Raipur Rani late last night.

The deceased have been identified as Pradeep Kumar and Manager, aka Mantri, residents of Hallo Majra, while the injured is Subhash, also of Hallo Majra. Manager and Subhash were referred to the GMCH-32, where Manager succumbed to his injuries. 

Subhash told the police that he was working as a driver with a sweets manufacturing company. They were returning after supplying sweets when their Bolero hit a stationary tipper loaded with gravel parked on the road without its parking lights on.

He said in the darkness, he could not see the tipper and the jeep rammed into it. Passersby informed the police. The police took them to the Civil Hospital where Pradeep was declared brought dead, while Manager and Subhash were referred to the GMCH where Manager succumbed to his injuries. 

The Raipur Rani police have registered a case against the tipper driver under Sections 283, 337, 338 and 304 A.
