Two youths arrrested for carrying knives in Mauli Jagran

The police have arrested two youths in separate Arms Act cases and recovered two knives from them during patrolling in Mauli Jagran.

In the first case, ASI Mukesh Kumar and his team were patrolling near Gaushala Road, Makhan Majra, around 11.10 pm when they noticed a suspect, who turned around on seeing the police. The man, identified as Dhruv, alias Bhuvi (21), of Vikas Nagar, was found carrying a foldable knife. He was arrested and later produced before the court. The judge remanded him in judicial custody.

In the other case, Kapil, alias Daku (22), of Surajpur village, was arrested near the Vikas Nagar petrol pump around 11.45 pm while attempting to flee. The police recovered a big knife from his possession.

The police said Kapil already faced theft-related cases registered against him. Further investigation into both cases is underway.
