The Municipal Corporation’s staff seize carts during an anti-encroachment drive in Sector 22.

In a continued effort to keep city roads and public spaces free from encroachments, the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh conducted an early morning anti-encroachment drive in Sector 20 today.

The enforcement team seized 20 unauthorised ice-cream rehris found operating in violation of municipal norms and obstructing pedestrian pathways and public areas.

The action was undertaken to ensure smooth movement of traffic, maintain cleanliness and uphold civic discipline in the city.

The Municipal Corporation reiterated its commitment to regular monitoring and strict enforcement against illegal encroachments.
