Unidentified body found

Zirakpur, September 21

An unidentified body of a man in his mid-50s was found near MS Enclave, Dhakoli, on Friday. No document was recovered from the clothes of the deceased which could establish his identity, the police said.

The police have ruled out the possibility of an assault as the body bore no external marks of injuries. Further investigations are in progress.

Meanwhile, the body has been kept in the mortuary at the Civil Hospital, Dera Bassi, for identification. The police said the exact cause of the death would be ascertained only after the post-mortem. — OC
