DERA BASSI: A 26-year-old youth was electrocuted to death here on Sunday.

A 26-year-old youth was electrocuted to death here on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Deepak, a resident of UP.

According to the sources, the incident took place on Sunday morning when the victim was working at an under-construction building. He came in contact with live wires and got electrocuted. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital, Dera Bassi, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The police had kept the body in the mortuary at the Civil Hospital and had informed his family members about the incident. Next course of action would be taken once the family reached Dera Bassi, the police said.
