Chandigarh: About two-decade-old mulberry tree in Sector 33, which had got uprooted during the heavy rain on Friday, got a new lease of life on Saturday. An MC official said the tree on the V3 road was uprooted during the downpour. However, they found it in a good condition and started the process to replant it. The official said it took six employees of the horticulture wing and a JCB machine about three hours to lift (see pic) and replant the tree near the spot where it stood earlier.
