With frequent power cuts being imposed in the district as well as the state, Dera Bassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today urged the citizens to judiciously use electrical appliances.
The MLA was addressing the audience during the “Ujwal Bharat, Ujwal Bhavikh” function at the Gyan Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Mohali. He said, “There will be surplus electricity in the country only when every citizen uses it thoughtfully and as per the need.”
Short films on “One Nation, One Grid”, “Renewable Energy”, “Universal Household Electrification, etc, were screened during the programme. Mohali SDM Sarabjit Kaur and PSPCL official Ashwani Kumar were also present.
