Sector 30-B taken off Containment Zone list

The Union Territory on Friday took Sector 30-B off the Containment Zone list with the stipulation that regular screening and monitoring of the area by medical teams will continue.

The Chairperson of the State Executive Committee of State Disaster Management Authority declared removal of Sector 30-B from the Containment Zone.

However, families from the close proximity of House No 1650, ie, Houses No 1649 and 1651 (around 30 people in these three houses) will be shifted to the institutional quarantine centres at the earliest and their vacant houses will be sanitised and kept out of human contact till the time the shifted families are allowed to come back.

These orders will come into force with immediate effect.
