Vaibhav stars in Strawberry Fields’ triumph

Chandigarh, October 17 

Vaibhav scored 20 points as Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, humbled Vivek High School, Sector 38, 38-21 in a boys’ U-16 match on the fourth day of the 7th Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Tournament at the Sector 78 Sports Complex in Mohali today. Arnav scored 12 points for Vivek High School. 

In another match, Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, registered a 55-36 win over Vivek High School, Mohali.

In the girls’ U-16 competition, Strawberry Fields School beat Manav Mangal School, Mohali, 31-22. Anika gathered 15 points for Strawberry Fields, while Aran (10 points) was the top scorer for Manav Mangal. Guru Nanak School  downed Vivek High School, Mohali, 15-3.

St Kabir School, Sector 26, humbled Strawberry Fields High School 18-2 in a girls’ U-12 match. In the boys’ U-12 category, Punjab Police School, Mohali, overcame Vivek High School, Mohali, 16-10, while Saupin’s School, Sector 32, drubbed Yadavindra Public School, Mohali 22-4. 

Vivek High School, Sector 38, defeated St Kabir School 46-20 in a boys’ U-14 contest. 

Vedansh, meanwhile, scored 28 points to help Learning Paths defeat Vivek High School, Mohali, 51-24. — TNS
