The festival also hosted All India Civil Services trials regarding competition, in which more than 50 government employees from different parts of Haryana participated. The event aimed to promote music, art and cultural exchange among government officials.

Meanwhile, the State Election Commission, Haryana has set up a voter awareness pavilion at the venue to educate citizens about the voting process ahead of the upcoming Municipal Corporation Panchkula elections. A dummy EVM has been placed for demonstration, and a quiz competition related to local body elections was organised for students.

Officials at the pavilion said people from different parts of Panchkula have been visiting the stall to learn about the voting process and the importance of participating in elections.

Nayab Singh Saini, Chief Minister of Haryana, also visited the pavilion on Friday during the inauguration of the spring festival and appreciated the initiative. A worker at the pavilion said the Chief Minister also wrote a message on the pledge wall set up at the awareness area.

The initiative aims to encourage citizens, especially young people, to actively participate in elections and view voting as an important civic responsibility.
