CHANDIGARH: PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar has cleared a proposal for branded outlet for University Business School (UBS) that had been pending for one-and-a-half-years.

PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar has cleared a proposal for branded outlet for University Business School (UBS) that had been pending for one-and-a-half-years.

UBS Chairperson Prof Deepak Kapur proposed for setting up of a Cafe Coffee Day outlet behind the department in 2017. Since then the issue had been hanging fire. “The Cafe Coffee Day was offering an investment of Rs 15 lakh, along with 70 % concession, to our students. They were to maintain a garden also. Such an outlet exists at the Indian School of Business, Mohali, too,” he said. — TNS
