Chandigarh Badminton Association (CBA) on Monday felicitated veteran shuttlers Anil Sondhi, Varun Sharma, Aashish Sharma and Deepak Sharma, who have been selected to represent the nation at the World Masters Badminton Championships to be held in Poland in August.
The quadruple was selected for the championship by Badminton Association of India on basis of their performance in the recently-concluded National Masters/Veterans Championships.
CBA advisor TPS Puri, senior vice-president Col Raj Parmar general secretary Surinder Mahajan presented the kits worth Rs 1.50 lakh at the Sector 43 Badminton Hall here.
