Victim nabs robbers at Mauli Jagran

CHANDIGARH: With the help of a passerby, a Mauli Jagran resident nabbed two persons who robbed him of cash.



Chandigarh, November 15

With the help of a passerby, a Mauli Jagran resident nabbed two persons who robbed him of cash.

The accused, identified as Salamat Ali, alias Nepali, and Gaurav, both residents of Mauli Complex, were arrested later.

The police said the complainant, Diwakar, reported that two persons attacked and robbed him of cash near a park in Mauli Jagran village. He raised the alarm, following which a passerby came to his rescue and the accused were caught.

The police were informed about the incident and the accused handed over to them. A case has been registered at the Mauli Jagran police station. — TNS
