Panchkula, December 7

Panchkula Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Jogpal today sought comments from Mayor Upinder Kaur, Senior Deputy Mayor SS Nanda, Deputy Mayor Sunil Talwar and all councillors about excluding Kalka and Pinjore from the jurisdiction of the MC.

Meanwhile, a meeting under Ambala Divisional Commissioner Vivek Joshi on the issue remained inconclusive. Recently, BJP MLA had written to CM Manohar Lal Khattar, submitting that under the Municipal Corporation, no development had taken place in Kalka and Pinjore. Therefore, the Municipal Corporation should be dissolved while Pinjore and Kalka should be made municipal committees.
