CHANDIGARH:Athletes from Institute of Visually Impaired, Sector 26, won a rich haul of medals in the recently concluded 21st IBSA National Athletics Championship, organised by Indian Blind Sports Association of India, in New Delhi.

Athletes from Institute of Visually Impaired, Sector 26, won a rich haul of medals in the recently concluded 21st IBSA National Athletics Championship, organised by Indian Blind Sports Association of India, in New Delhi.  

The local athletes won a total of 20 medals--seven gold, five silver and eight bronze-in the championship. Coach Rakesh Sharma said that a total of 15 students from the institute participated in the championship. Radhika (B-1 category), Usha (B-1 category), Rekha (B-1 category), Kusum (B-2 category), Vrinda (B-1 category), Rekha (B-1 category), Gurjot (B-1 category) and Abhishek (B-1 category) won a total of 20 medals in various track events.
