Woman loses purse to snatchers

MOHALI: Three motorcycle-borne snatchers targeted a woman and took away her purse, containing some cash, important documents and a mobile phone here this evening.

Mohali, January 28

Three motorcycle-borne snatchers targeted a woman and took away her purse, containing some cash, important documents and a mobile phone here this evening.

In the incident, which occurred near the Forest Complex traffic light point at Phase 8, the miscreants snatched purse and mobile phone of Keeti Kumari, who works as nurse in a private hospital. The victim was going back to her house after finishing her duty.

According to the victim the motorcycle-borne miscreants came from behind and snatched her purse and mobile phone, worth around Rs 18,000. The victim could not note down registration number of the motorcycle, which assailants were riding.

After receiving victim’s complaint the police started an investigation. — TNS
