Ropar, January 15
As many as 800 girls participated in a workshop on adolescent health at Government Girls Senior Secondary School here on Monday.
The workshop was a part of Gracia Raina Foundation’s RightAGE programme. The aim was to help adolescent girls better understand the various facets of reproductive health.
During the session, Dr Anamika Dubey, senior consultant of adolescent health, Rainbow Children’s Hospital, talked extensively about how menstruation led to varied mental and physical changes, and followed it up with helpful suggestions. — TNS
