The University School of Law at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University hosted the inaugural ceremony of the National Moot Court Competition. The chief guest was Justice Bawa Singh Walia, former judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, while advocate Harvinder Singh Mann, treasurer of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association was the special invitee.

Justice Walia emphasised that the need of the hour was to inculcate the values of empathy, and justice enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Vice-Chancellor Pritpal Singh and Amita Kaushal, Head the University School of Law also addressed the gathering.
