Yashpreet, Rakesh shine

Chandigarh:  Ultimate Fitness XI registered a seven-wicked win over Ambala Aces XI in a Champions Corporate Cricket League match at the Mahajan Cricket Ground here on Monday. Batting first, Ambala Aces were all out for 111 runs in 18 overs. Aakash (35) and Raghav (17) made useful contributions to the total. Yashpreet claimed three wickets for Fitness XI, while Siddharth took two wickets. In reply, Ultimate Fitness scampered home in 16.4 over with seven wickets to spare. Rakesh Yadav made 31 runs, while Abhishek Gagneja contributed 20 runs to the chase. Dinesh claimed three wickets for Aces. TNS

PSB holds sports meet

Mohali:  Punjab & Sind Bank, Zonal Office, Chandigarh, on Monday organised a sports meet --- PSB Aao Khelein --- for the staff members at Paragon Senior Secondary School, Sector 71. During the day-long event, the participants competed in cricket, badminton, kho-kho, 50m sprint, 100m dash, lemon-spoon race and three legged race. The meet was inaugurated by Zonal Manager Jatinder Kumar. TNS
