Mohali, July 24
A 19-year-old youth died and another sustained injuries in a road accident here late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh, a resident of Ropar. The injured person, identified as Harjinder, has been admitted to the GMCH at Sector 32. His condition is reportedly stable.
The police said the duo was on a motorcycle when they rammed their vehicle in a jeep parked on the road. “It was dark at the time of the incident and the parking lights of the jeep were not on,” said the police. The jeep driver fled the spot. A case in this regard has been registered against the unidentified driver of the jeep. — TNS
