Amritsar, April 18

The annual convocation of Satyam Institute of Engineering & Technology was held on Thursday. DK Aswal, Director, National Physical Laboratory, CSIR, New Delhi was the chief guest. NP Singh, Dean, Planning & Development, IKG – Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, was the guest of honour.

As many as 355 students of B.Tech, management and pharmacy were awarded degrees. DK Aswal congratulated the students. “After getting degrees, students should create jobs. They should be job creators instead of job seekers. They should bring a change in their mindset and create new opportunities to explore possibilities of new ventures,” he said.

He also stressed upon the need to bring new technology into agriculture sector by not burning crop residue.

NP Singh, Dean, Planning & Development, IKG PTU, also congratulated the students. RK Bedi, Director-Principal, also thanked Aswal and NP Singh for their presence.
