EPFO appoints nodal officer to settle claims

AMRITSAR: The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has appointed a nodal officer to settle the claims of persons who died in the train mishap on October 19.

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has appointed a nodal officer to settle the claims of persons who died in the train mishap on October 19.

EPFO Assistant Commissioner Nishant Yadav has been appointed nodal officer in this regard.

Yadav said his office had received names of the persons who died in the accident. He added that people must bring in detail the names of beneficiaries so that all benefits under the scheme could be granted. He said so far no one had come forward to receive the claim.
