After the Joda Phatak incident, the ambulances ferrying injured faced inconvenience due to traffic congestion near the Guru Nanak Hospital, Majitha Road. It happened as a roadside temple management installed a tent, blocking the road. The temple was celebrating Durga Puja festival.

When asked, the organisers showed a permission letter issued by the estate office, MC. The letter stated that organisers shouldn’t block the traffic. When told, the temple priest replied, “I can’t read Punjabi.” MC Estate Officer Sushant Bhatia said, “The police should keep a check and register case against such organisers, who block the traffic.”
