IIM’s platform for budding entrepreneurs

AMRITSAR: To boost the morale of students and young aspiring entrepreneurs towards self-employment, the IIM, Amritsar, has come up with a Centre of Entrepreneurship.

To boost the morale of students and young aspiring entrepreneurs towards self-employment, the IIM, Amritsar, has come up with a Centre of Entrepreneurship.

Speaking about the vision of the Centre of Entrepreneurship, Prof Anita Sharma said the centre would work towards promoting start-ups in Punjab at a progressive scale and try to address similar needs of the city.

Param Singh, founder and managing director at UDAY, founder at MoooFarm, non-executive director at Arrow Contractors and fellow at Australian Institute of Management, insisted that future entrepreneurs of the IIM, Amritsar, would incubate and start companies from the city and grow not only in Punjab but also across the globe. He asserted that after completing education and while in jobs, one does consider coming up with a startup.
