A person has been booked for allegedly molesting a school girl. The suspect has been identified as Baljinder Singh Bikka, a resident of Pandori Gola village.
Assistant SI Ranjit Kaur, who recorded that statement of the victim, said, “The suspect molested the girl when she was going to the school at the village. She is a student of Class IX.”
The incident took place seven days ago, but a case under Section 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered on Monday.
