Teachers of government schools are making all-out to polish the personality of students. The teachers prepared the students for district-level competitions organised by the Education Department on their own.

Education Department officials have been organising activities for teachers and students to motivate them to improve their skills.

Besides, the teachers are also making classroom teaching interactive using e-content and activity books.

Manpreet Kaur, district coordinator, Padho Punjab Padhao Punjab, said, “The teachers have prepared the students for the competitions. They played a huge role by motivating the students. Some of them even got their students colours and brushes from their own pockets so that they could participate in the competition.”

Pankaj Sharma, a teacher at a government school, said, “The best part is that activity books are being introduced. These books help children understand subjects.”

The teachers have also been getting school walls painted, writing syllabus on them.
