Electrification Corporation and Rotary Club organised a two-day free medical camp for people with disabilities and distributed wheelchairs and artificial limbs. The camp was held at Government High School, Sharifpura. Deputy Commissioner Shivdular Singh checked the quality of equipment being distributed while interacting with the beneficiaries.
“The camp was held in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation, Kanpur, and the purpose was to reach out the needy disabled people with medical equipment to make their lives a bit easier and more accessible. Several camps were held in different blocks of city and similar camps will be held in future as well. During the two-day camp, the people with disabilities were given wheelchairs, artificial limbs, walking sticks and hearing aids,” said Deputy Commissioner.
