Simranjit Kaur (38) of Patti, said to be upset after being “harassed” by her husband and other members of her in-laws family, ended her life by consuming some poisonous substance on Thursday.
Her husband Sukhpal Singh, father-in-law Hari Singh and mother-in-law Salwinder Kaur, alias Rani, residents of Patti, have been booked under Sections 306 and 34 of the IPC. The accused are absconding, the police said.
