A 23-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Kotkapura town of Faridkot district on Tuesday evening when he was trying to stop a fight among two youths.
The incident happened at Shere-Punjab Nagar at Duareana Road in Kotkapura. It is alleged that the deceased, Satnam Singh, was stabbed to death when he tried to interfere in a fight between the two youth.
The deceased is a labourer. The police have registered a criminal case under Section 302 of the IPC against Arshdeep Singh, one of the youths, involved in the fight.
